Hydrogen sulfide is an inorganic compound that is a flammable acid gas at standard conditions and has a rotten egg smell in low concentrations.
Hydrogen sulfide gas is a by-product of many industrial processes. Currently, more than 70 occupations have opportunities to be exposed to hydrogen sulfide.
